Another recent find from when I was convinced I was going to be the next Tyra Banks.

Today was the coolest day! Well, I'll start out with yesterday...
Dad and I went down to Bartle Hall in downtown KC to go to an audition. Mom couldn't go because she had to set up for the renewal of vows service, but that's a different story. So, we got there on time, but couldn't find out where we needed to be. After finally getting directions from a fellow student (later known as Reah), we bought tickets to the world of wheels auto show, which was hosting the JRP Audition. We had to have the tickets to get upstairs, which stunk, cause they were $14! Oh well. So, we got up there, having no clue where in the enormous place we should go. We walked around aimlessly for awhile and found some more JRP students who were just as lost. We all spread out and I found a JRP booth with no sponser person there. We figured this had to be it so we waited for about 20 min. At 11:30, Mr. Bowling (Rod) showed up and started signing people up. After signing up, we sat down at a table and, again, waited. Then, at approximately noon, they finally started modeling auditions. I was so nervous because we had to walk in front of everyone in the audience. Dad said I didn't stop enough, but ya. After that I did my monologue & Dad liked it. Later, @ about 2:00, they said that anyone interested in doing runway modeling to sign up. I thought, 'What the heck', and I decided to give it a shot. There were about 24 of us. When they announced call backs after we auditioned, I was surprised to hear my name. They gave the 12 of us a free ticket to get in today and said to come back at 11:00 today. Of course, Mom said she had to go, so Lori Hilligoss took over her Sunday school class this morning. Again we got there early and didn't know where to be. We finally got everything straightened out, went upstairs, & signed in. About 30 min later, they started the auditions. They had runway model call backs go practice over to the side. They came over to get the "hosts", and Sharon came and asked, "Is Danielle a spokes model (host)?" I told her no and she said she wanted me to. I was excited, but I kept my cool. So, now I was runway, host, & actor. So, the day went on. I introduced people, interviewed people, and gave announcements of breaks. I also worked on my walk & did my monologue. At the end they gave out "Best of Show" awards. Out of the hundreds of people there, only 12 were handed out. So, of course, I didn't expect one. But, it turned out I got 1st in runway! I couldn't believe it! I was the youngest one, too! So, I'm going to get a contract w/ the Best of KC. It was an awesome day! I <3 it!
